John Crabbie Distillery is hiring an Office Manager to provide Financial and Administrative support to the Distillery Management team.
Areas of responsibility include:
- Management of month end processes
- Cash flow forecasting
- Managing the Purchase Ledger & processing invoices
- Managing the Accounts Receivable & chasing any overdue payments
- Manage Supplier Payments
- Reconciliation of bank & credit card statements
- Maintaining and filing ongoing VAT returns in a detailed manner.
- Assisting with preparation for end of year accounts
- Preparation of Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss, Management Accounts and financial reports as required
- Liaising with the external Payroll provider
- Manage IT systems and act as first point of contact for any IT issues
- Maintain HR records, holiday and absence records
- Managing service and maintenance contracts as required
- General Office Management and administration tasks
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Previous experience in a financial role with a good understanding of financial processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the business.
- Proactive with a flexible mind set, comfortable taking on tasks at all levels.
- AAT qualification or equivalent.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
