As the Customs Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring customs compliance activity related to the international movement of goods to and from the UK Distribution Centre, (UKDC) as well as wider customs activity for Skechers in the UK. You will prepare and process all customs documents for international & UK imports and shipments.
Do you have knowledge of UK customs procedures and a high level of literacy and numeracy?
If so, we want you to join our team as a ‘Skechers Customs Coordinator’
You will support the customs department in meeting Skechers’ regulatory obligations, working closely with the UK Customs Compliance Manager as well as providing coverage for daily processing and associated administrative tasks.
This will include processing customs transactions in our duty management system (e-Customs). Preparing and submitting data and declarations for customs warehouse activity. Monitoring and updating the live SCDP (Simplified Customs Declaration Process) import log. Working with warehouse operational teams to investigate discrepancies and communicate issues about customs compliance as well as assisting the customs compliance manager in other administrative tasks.
