Accounts Manager

We are opening a brand-new office in Glasgow to better serve ourgrowing number of Scottish clients.

As the Business Operations Manager, I am personally looking for a dedicated and self-sufficient Accounts Manager (based in Glasgow only) to join our dynamic team.

• Location: Glasgow, G3 7QL
• Type: Full-time, Permanent
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm (flexible working with core hours 10am to 4pm)
• Salary: Competitive with market rates and experience

In this role, you will manage your own portfolio of Scottish-based clients and handle inbound queries with the utmost professionalism and care. If you thrive in a fast-paced, multi-client environment and enjoy building lasting relationships with clients, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Note that there may be times when you need to work independently in the Glasgow office as we expand our team.

We are ideally looking for someone who is part-qualified or strongly qualified by experience (ACCA preferred).

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation and computation of self-assessment returns
• Handling VAT and corporation tax returns
• Working with spreadsheets, sales, ledgers, and journals
• Payroll administration
• Bank reconciliations and payment advice
• Personal and company tax planning activities
• General administrative duties
