Shopfitting Metalworker£31,000K per annum39 hours/week - Monday-Friday, between 06:30 and 16:30Birmingham- Permanent opportunity About the RoleWe're looking for a skilled shopfitting metalworker to join our clients small, collaborative team. You'll produce custom-made architectural metalwork, including:

• Shopfronts
• Canopies
• Staircases
• Other bespoke metal structures

You'll work with a variety of materials and machinery to meet specific client requirements.

• Brass
• Bronze
• Aluminium
• Stainless & mild steel (1.2-6mm thick)

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Positive attitude
• Good under pressure
• Able to manage multiple jobs at once
• Band saws (vertical & horizontal)
• Pedestal drills
• Welding and brazing (preferred but not essential)
