Main Responsibilities:

• Promote and Sell: Engage with customers to promote and sell GWR products onboard, ensuring they have the journey they deserve.
• Maintain High Standards: Uphold the highest standards in all aspects of your work.
• Be an ambassador: Represent Great Western Railway by embodying our Values and delivering excellent customer service.
• Provide Exceptional Service: Deliver the best possible at-seat service to our customers.
• Prioritise Safety: Always adhere to safety principles, ensuring the safest journey for our customers.
• Ensure Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, hygienic, and pleasant environment for our customers.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Sales or Customer Service Background: Experience in sales or customer service is essential.
• Passionate About Customer Service: Enthusiastic about providing outstanding customer service.
• Flexible Schedule: Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Sales-Driven: Motivated to achieve high sales levels.
• Proactive Attitude: Possess a ‘can do' attitude and proactive approach.
• Comfortable with Regulations: Able to work effectively in a regulated environment.

Requirements:

• Payment Handling Experience: Proficient in cash handling and card payments.
• Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication abilities.
• Team and Independent Worker: Ability to work well both as part of a team and independently.
• Food Safety Knowledge: Previous experience with food safety is desirable.
• Stock Control Experience: Experience in stock control and ordering is desirable.
• Location: You Live within a hour of the advertised location
