Job Role: Floating Support Worker
Salary: £20,188 per year (FTE £25,235)
Hours: 30 hours
Contract type: Fixed-Term-Contract till 31st March 2026
Location: Mendip, covering Somerset
The Role: The Floating Support Worker will be responsible for providing practical and emotional support and advice to vulnerable and complex adults who are already accommodated and/or homeless or in unsuitable/insecure housing. You will develop and maintain a high level of face-to-face contact with clients to maximise engagement, and reduce barriers to obtaining or sustaining accommodation. There will be an anticipated maximum caseload of ten clients, although, subject to slight change based on assessed complexity of cases.
