Objective: To assist the Fine Foods manager in the organization and smooth running of the Non Produce departments of the business. To ensure compliance with quality and procedures making sure all products are managed and ready for dispatch to our customers.
Daily Tasks:
- To comply with Company Core Values
- Assist with the process of sourcing and selling “special order” items from intake to outbound
- Assist Fine Foods Manager with daily ordering of products as required
- Book products in on ISSAC system
- Create daily intake sheets as required
- Create and process internal transfers
- Manage all aspects of Quality and Compliance within the department
- Contact suppliers concerning rejected products, produce rejection paperwork, and ensure credit note is requested from supplier
- Liaise with warehouse department regarding incoming deliveries
- Liaise with pricing manager & analyst to plan forward pricing files
- Liaise with departmental managers to inform them of product information/changes
- Liaise with Technical Department to ensure BRC compliance with all new suppliers
- Check all supplier invoices with the stock receipts printout from ISSAC
- Maintain Error Log and Incident Log and provide information as required
- Undertake any other duties considered by the company to be within the remit.
- There may be a business need for you to carry out other duties within the business that are within your skill set.
- To comply with Company Health & safety policy and take responsibility of your actions and report any Health & Safety concerns.
Work experience requirements:
- Experience of dealing with B.R.C. Accreditation or similar (Desirable)
- Experience of working within a supply chain environment (Desirable)
Skills:
- Planning
- Communication, both written & verbal
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
