Candidates whose research focuses on interactions between science, diverse environmental knowledges, and policy-making processes, or which focuses on power relationships between governments, experts, corporations and citizens, would be especially well suited to the post.

What will you be doing?

The appointed candidate will be expected to deliver the following teaching on our MSc Environmental Policy and Management programme:

  • 100% of the core "Environmental Policy and Politics" PGT module
  • 35% of "Sustainability, Risk, and Resilience in an Urban Age" PGT module

In addition, they will deliver a set of dissertation workshops for final-year undergraduate students, supervise UG & PGT dissertation projects, and participate in our pastoral tutorial and fieldtrip activities. This is a Pathway 3, teaching-focused post, but the appointed candidate will have opportunities to develop their research and scholarship, and will benefit from participating in the School’s thriving research environment.
