We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to manage our internal marketing.
Formed in 2000, SOZO is a B Corp, award-winning digital agency based in Cheltenham. We like to work with ambitious companies who share our passion for the environment.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced, forward thinking Digital Marketing Manager who relishes a new challenge. We want someone who is passionate about marketing but also who cares about the planet. At SOZO, we are always striving to make a positive impact in the world whether through reducing our carbon footprint or via helping ecological brands to grow.

You will be responsible for managing our own marketing strategy to ensure we attract the right sort of brands who share our ethos.

Applicants must have at least 5 years commercial experience in digital marketing.

You must be able to demonstrate how you have helped your clients to significantly improve their marketing and show ROI on various multi-channel campaigns.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Devise and manage the delivery of our internal digital marketing strategy.
    Implementation and delivery of the strategy (with the assistance of our marketing experts).
  • Copywriting of content for our website and social media.
  • You will be responsible for guiding the performance of our marketing campaigns and reporting back to senior management.
  • You must be proactive with your insights and suggestions.
  • Monitoring our website and marketing channels on a regular basis.
  • Play an active role in contributing to our marketing team and evolving our marketing services.
  • Manage our email marketing campaigns.
  • Keep up to date with the latest digital marketing trends and best practices.
  • Oversee and manage our website and marketing campaigns and specific projects.
  • Organise and deliver marketing events such as webinars, client lunches and seminars.
  • Manage our social media channels and regular posting.

Ideal candidate:

  • Absolutely passionate about digital marketing but with the commercial savvy to understand real world objectives.
  • Analytical mind-set with a strong ability for analysing data and user statistics.
  • Ability to think creatively, and identify and resolve problems.
  • Experienced writer with ability to write creative and engaging copy.
  • Excellent understanding of traffic and conversion measurement, experience with interpreting such data and deriving insight.
  • Seasoned at producing in-depth analysis and reporting on business KPIs.
  • Excellent planning, organisation and communication skills, ability to self-manage and keep track of multiple projects streams.
  • Confident communicator with excellent writing and speaking skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task.
  • Experience of delivering and monitoring digital marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement and lead generation.
  • Experienced in social media and email marketing.

  • We have technical SEO and PPC staff within the marketing team for you to utilise.
  • Based within 30 mins of Cheltenham to allow for hybrid working.

Salary (part-time): Up to £20,000 – £30,000 part-time (2-3 days per week TBC), depending on experience and level.
