About the Role:

The Sustainability Specialist will play a crucial role in advancing Iberdrola's sustainability initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainability strategies that align with corporate goals and regulatory requirements.

  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on sustainability metrics, ensuring transparency and continuous improvement in environmental performance.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to promote sustainability initiatives and communicate progress effectively.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards, identifying and mitigating potential risks.

Person Specification:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Educational Background: A degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience: Proven experience in sustainability roles within the energy sector or related industries.

  • Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.

  • Attributes: A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
