Sales Engineer

Company Description

Francis Ward is a manufacturing company based in Bradford, specializing in plastic moulding and metal fabrication. Products include rotomoulded plastic products and high-specification reusable industrial and chemical transport packaging. We offer a range of products including reusable IBCs and heavy-duty plastic drums selling primarily into the Chemical, Food Manufacturing and Pharmaceuticals industries.

Role Description

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for proactively seeking new sales opportunities and converting incoming sales enquiries. The role will be partially field based, with visits to client sites as required. The role requires the Sales engineer to have a problem solving approach, as they need to work with clients to produce bespoke solutions to client needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales and client relationship management
• Technical background in engineering or related field
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities
• Knowledge of industrial or chemical packaging industry is a plus
